Highland Park - Garvanza HPOZ Restoration of a 1921 Craftsman Residence
This is the second of several dwellings to be restored on the same site by the same developer. We provided Historic Preservation expertise to help bring the original Craftsman home back to life and to navigate the preservation requirements for the Historic Preservation Overlay Zone (HPOZ). A period sensitive porch trellis has been brought back, layers of non-original additions removed in the rear of the property, existing original wood windows and shingles were repaired and restored in place.
